My Style & Approach
The journey toward mental wellness can be complex and intimidating, and taking the first step is often the most challenging. Your desire to seek support is commendable, and I hope you take a moment to feel proud of yourself.
Having a space uniquely your own is important in exploring who you are, what you are encountering, and where you want to proceed in your next steps. My approach promotes a space that allows you to be your authentic self, where you can evolve into everything you are capable of becoming. While honoring your expertise in your life, I foster a humanistic, person-centered approach and encourage a collaborative process where you feel supported, respected, and understood. By understanding different life stages, I wish to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you discover your strengths, determine your goals, and learn new strategies for greater well-being.
I look forward to the opportunity of meeting with you! If you have questions or concerns, please reach me through the booking link below!
Education, Training, & Professional Development
I have my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University and previously obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in community and criminal justice. Before beginning my Master's program, I worked in the healthcare field and in a foster home setting where I supported teens, inspiring my strengths-based approach. I strive to integrate my knowledge of the community into my practice.
I prioritize learning opportunities and am committed to growing my expertise in psychotherapy. I have professional development in various areas of mental health and have completed various training and advanced learning opportunities.
Some of these training and learning opportunities include:

Personal interests
I love everything outdoors, including hiking, kayaking, camping, and walks with my dog, Lotus. I am honored to be an Auntie to two littles, and spending time with my family brings me great joy. I enjoy many sports, including softball, which I played competitively for 12+ years. In addition, I enjoy kicking my feet up with a nice cup of tea and watching my favorite series, which changes all too frequently!
