My Style & Approach
My approach to therapy focuses on creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and free to speak without judgment. I take time to understand who you are, what you’ve been through, and where you’d like to go, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I recognize the courage it takes to begin therapy and won’t rush you before you’re ready.
I view your experiences as shaping how you feel, think, and respond to the world. The strategies you’ve developed are not flaws, but ways you’ve learned to cope. I also value the importance of a genuine therapeutic connection, and I remain open to your feedback as your needs evolve.
I take a holistic and individualized approach, considering the connection between mind, body, and environment to support lasting change. I draw from evidence-based therapies such as EFT, CBT, DBT, ACT, SFT, and psychodynamic therapy, tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals.
I believe self-awareness is a powerful first step toward change. Together, we will explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, bringing clarity to what may feel overwhelming.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin, and you don’t have to do this alone. We can take this one step at a time.
Education, Training, & Professional Development
I hold a diploma in Police Foundations, a double major in Criminology and Forensic Psychology, and I am completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I value ongoing learning and am currently working toward EFT certification through ICEEFT.
Personal interests
As a mom of three young children and a graduate student, I am intentional about maintaining my well-being. I often start my day at the gym with movement, sauna, and meditation, which helps me show up with clarity and energy. Evenings are often spent supporting my children in their sports and activities, and I enjoy unwinding with a good true crime documentary at the end of the day. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, often choosing full, adventurous itineraries where I can learn and explore as much as possible.
