My Style & Approach
As a practicum student therapist, I bring a warm, compassionate, and client-centred approach to counselling. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and anti-oppressive practice, with a strong focus on creating a space where you feel seen, safe, and respected. I value collaboration and believe therapy should honour your strengths, lived experience, identity, and goals while supporting insight, healing, and practical growth.
Education, Training, & Professional Development
I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I also hold a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a post-graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science from George Brown College, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto, and a Social Service Worker diploma from Centennial College. My professional development includes training in Body Oriented Trauma Counselling Strategies, Violence Threat Risk Assessment Intervention, and the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Personal interests
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy baking, engaging in the arts, everything from live theatre to painting and pottery, travelling, and all things chocolate! I appreciate the creativity, comfort, and connection that these interests bring and value the balance they add to my daily life. I enjoy approaching life with a gentle curiosity and a willingness to pause, notice, and savour meaningful moments along the way.
