My Style & Approach

As your therapist, I will guide you through your own journey towards healing and self-understanding. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed somatic work with a focus on Internal Family Systems (IFS), parts work, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Together, we’ll work on regulating your nervous system, easing anxiety and stress, processing trauma and emotional pain, and softening shame and self-criticism. I tailor each session to your individual goals and needs, supporting both teens and adults in strengthening their relationship with themselves and cultivating lasting emotional resilience and self-compassion.

Education, Training, & Professional Development

I have completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and previously obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Child, Youth, and Family Studies at the University of Guelph. I've completed various workshops and training focused on shame, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, and attachment styles.

Personal interests

Outside of my work as a therapist, I love spending time with my dogs, getting outside for hikes, and moving my body through Pilates. I’m happiest when I’m traveling somewhere new, watching a great psychological thriller, or laughing at a good comedy or reality show. I try to balance my love of cozy nights in with time outdoors and moments that keep me grounded and connected.
