My Style & Approach

Life can be incredibly challenging, and at times, making sense of our experiences can feel overwhelming. You might find yourself feeling stuck, disconnected, or out of alignment with who you truly are. My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, grounded in open, natural conversation. I believe you are the expert in your own life—my role is to walk alongside you, offering support and guidance as we explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences together. I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone.

I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to be yourself. Empathy and respect are at the heart of my work because I believe they are the foundation for building trust and allowing meaningful vulnerability to emerge. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, which is why I draw from a variety of approaches to find what works best for you. I take a holistic, integrative approach—my goal is to equip you with the tools and insight needed to navigate life’s ups and downs and move toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-connection.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply unsure of your next step, I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself and find a path forward that feels authentic and empowering.

Education, Training, & Professional Development

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Western Ontario. During my time at Western, I discovered a deep passion for supporting First Responders—a group that holds a special place in my heart.

Since graduating, I’ve continued to expand my knowledge and skills to better understand the unique experiences of First Responders and provide meaningful, specialized support. I recognize the unique challenges that come with high-stress, high-impact roles. Whether you’re processing a critical incident, feeling the weight of burnout, or just need space to sort through the emotional toll of the job, you’re not alone. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space, as I’ve seen how powerful it can be when someone feels truly understood—and how that connection can be the foundation for healing and resilience.

As a therapist, I’m deeply committed to ongoing professional growth so I can provide the best possible support for each person I work with. My volunteer work with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) has given me valuable experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, and it’s reinforced something I truly believe: everyone deserves to feel heard, validated, and supported. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support as you navigate your own journey. I remain committed to expanding my knowledge by pursuing a range of certifications to ensure the care I provide is relevant, informed, and tailored to your needs.

Personal interests

Outside of the office, I like to enjoy a hot cup of tea and a sweet treat. You can usually find me engaged in conversation, whether it be with a human or an animal. Needless to say, I love animals of all shapes and sizes! I am a fan of many types of music and cuisines.
