My Style & Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, non-judgmental, and deeply collaborative. I want clients to
feel like they can show up exactly as they are; messy, curious, unsure, hopeful, or anything in between. I work from a trauma-informed lens and believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and supported rather than analyzed or “fixed”.
I draw from Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Psychodynamic principles, but what is most important is that therapy feels personal and human. I truly believe that everyone has the ability to rewrite their narrative, and I’m honoured to sit with clients as they explore old patterns, heal painful experiences, and reconnect with their sense of self.
Education, Training, & Professional Development
I am completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University and will graduate in August 2026. Prior to this, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Brock University. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer, which has helped me develop a deeper appreciation for the connection between emotional well-being, the nervous system, and how we care for our bodies.
Personal interests
Outside of the therapy room, I’m happiest when I’m with my family and my small circle of close friends - connection is something I value deeply in both my personal and professional life. I enjoy staying mentally grounded through meditation and physically strong through the gym, and I love exploring the ways that movement, mindfulness, and emotional well-being influence one another
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are and explore your story at your own pace. Together, we’ll gently untangle old patterns and reconnect you with the version of yourself you want to become.
