Brittany Sirtonski Counselling and Psychotherapy Services

As a counsellor and expressive arts practitioner in private practice, Brittany works with children, adolescents, adults and families.   Her practice is located in Whitby, Ontario and serves clients in the surrounding Durham region.  Much of Brittany’s work focuses on child and adolescent issues, transitions and adjustment, anxiety, depression, anger management, stress management, communication, relationship issues, trauma and recovery, confidence, self-esteem, and identity issues.

Brittany believes that each person is the expert in their own life and using a client-centered, holistic, collaborative approach to counselling, she is able to provide a unique counselling experience that caters to each client’s unique background, strengths, and goals.

Unique to her practice, Brittany utilizes expressive arts in her counselling work with clients.  By applying a creative approach to treatment, clients have the opportunity to engage in counselling in a more sensory, ‘whole-brain’ manner, compared to traditional talk therapy.  Additionally, Brittany facilitates therapeutic workshops and individual expressive arts sessions to diverse clientele interested in pursuing creativity, positivity, healing, and individual transformation.

Brittany’s office is located at 213 Byron Street South, Unit #203, Whitby, Ontario, L1N 4P7, within New Roots Therapy.
